“I am very proud of the momentum that Rezidor has created for prizeotel’s growth across Europe,” said Elie Younes, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer of the Rezidor Hotel Group. “prizeotel’s arrival in two of the most vibrant business and tourism hubs of Europe – Vienna and Düsseldorf – is perfectly in line with our newly launched asset-right growth strategy.”

Marco Nussbaum, Founder and CEO of prizeotel, comments: “Having a property so close to the new Viennese train station allows us to remain true to our strategy – focusing on central locations in the core markets of the German-speaking region, and beyond. The prizeotel brand is gaining momentum, and – from its successful origins in Bremen – we have expanded to a range of locations, offering more than 1,900 rooms featuring ‘affordable high design.”

prizeotel Vienna-City, our first in Austria will be developed on one of the most important hubs in Central Europe – near the iconic Danube river and close to the new train station in Vienna’s tenth district. The 294-room prizeotel Vienna-City is due to open its doors in the first quarter of 2022.

prizeotel Düsseldorf-City will be located just a 400m walk from the city’s main station. It will offer 250 economy-design rooms, and will also open in 2022. prizeotel Düsseldorf-City will be a prominent feature in the new forward-looking ‘Grand Central’ district – a prestigious regeneration project bringing investment into the city.

prizeotel continues its signature partnership with Karim Rashid – one of the world’s most influential industrial designers, and the celebrated designer of the existing prizeotel properties.

For the development of its properties, prizeotel cooperates closely with New York based international designer Karim Rashid. His style is evident in all the hotels, from the layout of rooms and corridors to the lobby lounge – hence the concept of signature brand hotels.
