As Deputy President and Chief Financial Officer of Radisson Hospitality AB and member of the Global Steering Committee of Radisson Hotel Group, Knut Kleiven has more than 30 years' experience with the company.

Formerly an Internal Auditor for SAS, he joined The Rezidor Hotel Group (now Radisson Hospitality AB) in 1986 as the Group Accounting Manager, swiftly moving up to become Operational Controller, then Corporate Controller.

Knut was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1994 when Rezidor (now Radisson Hospitality AB) signed a strategic agreement with Carlson Hotels (now Radisson Hospitality Inc.) to develop the Radisson SAS brand under a master franchise agreement for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He helped guide the business's rapid expansion. In 2005, he was promoted to Deputy President and Chief Financial Officer, actively supporting the President and Chief Executive Officer in the strategic development of the company, while steering its economic policy.

In 2006, Knut successfully led the IPO process which resulted in Rezidor becoming a publicly listed company on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
