Carlson Rezidor announces the Radisson Blu Primorie Resort, Gelendzhik

Carlson Rezidor, one of the most dynamic and largest hotel groups worldwide, announces its fifth beach resort at the Black Sea, the Radisson Blu Primorie Resort, Gelendzhik – one of Russia’s most popular resort destinations. The existing resort with 174 rooms will re-open under the Radisson Blu flag in Q1 2014. An extension by further 100 rooms is planned within the next three years. Russia is a key market for Carlson Rezidor: The group is the leading international hotel operator in Russia/CIS & Baltics, and operates and develops 74 hotels with 18,640 rooms across the region. The Radisson Blu Primorie Resort, Gelendzhik will be the latest addition to Rezidor’s successful resort portfolio in the area now consisting of nine properties in operation and under development – and growing further.

Besides 174 guest rooms with Radisson Blu signature services such as free high speed internet access, the resort will feature seven restaurants, a bar, a nightclub, extensive leisure facilities, three swimming pools, and conference & meeting facilities for up to 300 delegates. The hotel will undergo renovation during the next months. During the next three years, 100 guest rooms, a further all day dining venue and a ballroom will be added.

Gelendzhik is located close to the main Black Sea port and is known as Russia’s southern economic center. The Radisson Blu Primorie Resort, Gelendzhik is ideally situated on the shores of the bay and in the very heart of this lively and bustling seaside destination.
