Within their first year of opening, two Carlson Rezidor hotels have gained the sought-after Green Key eco-label. The Park Inn by Radisson, Donetsk and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Asia have both met the programme’s strict environmental standards, and Ukraine’s Radisson Resort & Spa, Alushta celebrated its centenary by having its certification renewed. The globally recognised independent eco-label programme aims to promote responsible tourism and to reduce the impact of leisure establishments on the environment. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Asia is the fifth hotel in Turkey to gain the eco-label, making Carlson Rezidor one of the most environmentally responsible hotel groups in the country. The Park Inn by Radisson, Donetsk is the only hotel in the city to have received the eco-certificate and, together with the Radisson Resort & Spa, Alushta, joins a very small bunch of Green Keys in Ukraine.
