ITB Berlin 2015: Radisson Blu awarded Best Group Hotel Brand and the group gained the Best Exhibitor Award during ITB

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group takes home two important trophies from ITB Berlin 2015, the world’s leading travel trade show.

Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts was awarded among eight other hotel groups at the European Group Travel Award as “Best Group Hotel Brand – Full Service”. Susann Beeh and Robert Dee, both Area Directors of Sales Leisure at Carlson Rezidor, were happy to take the stage and accept the award during the ceremony at the prestigious Intercontinental Berlin, venue of ITB Berlin.

The European Group Travel Awards (EGTA) is organised annually by HotelPlanner.com and Landor Travel Publications to recognise leader organisations and individuals in the travel industry. Leading group travel buyers choose their EGTA award nominees, from which the winners are chosen through an online voting by the public.

During the ITB 2015, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group was also awarded with the “Best Exhibitors Award” by Cologne Business School (CBS). Every year, over 30 CBS tourism students crown the best booths at the trade fair. Among 11,000 exhibition booths, the group classified as third best in the category of Hotel Business.
