Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv Podil has been awarded the Green Key eco-label

13 Jun 2015

Green Key is a leading international eco-label, currently existing in more than 40 countries. The certification is supported by the World Tourism Organisation as well as the UN environment programme, UNEP. Since 1989, the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in EMEA has actively worked to reduce its impact on the climate and the environment.

To achieve the Green Key certification, a hotel must work actively to minimise its environmental impact and fulfil a number of criteria in environmental management, guest information, water stewardship, waste management and chemical consumption reduction. The focus must also be on promoting the use of local and organically grown vegetables and food products.

A large number of Carlson Rezidor hotels in Germany, France, the Baltics and the Netherlands have already been awarded with the Green Key.
