Radisson hotels have triumphed at the 20th World Travel Awards 2013! At a gala event held on the Turkish Riviera in August. Moscow’s Radisson Royal Hotel was heralded with four awards: Europe’s Leading Luxury Business Hotel for the third year running, Europe’s Leading MICE (meetings & events) Hotel, Europe’s Leading River Cruise Company – for its flotilla of 10 river cruise yachts – and Russia’s Leading Hotel Residences. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Berlin was voted Germany’s Leading Business Hotel for the second consecutive year, earning top marks for meeting and event facilities, comfort and service. The Radisson Blu Hotel, Batumi collected the award for Leading Hotel in Georgia after being open for just two years. And completing our European triumph, the fully renovated Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Helsinki took the title of Finland’s Best Business Hotel. In a separate ceremony held in Dubai, the Radisson Blu Resort, Sharjah was named the country’s Leading Hotel for the third time.
The prestigious awards, coined “the Oscars of the travel industry”, are decided by hundreds of thousands of travel professionals voting in more than 160 countries and are recognised worldwide as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.
